Space
spazioSERRA is located within the Lancetti Railway Station, and due to its unique physical structure, what is inside can also be observed from the outside. In fact, it is a former newsstand with an octagonal plan and glass walls, for this reason it is possible to view from outside the works that are displayed from time to time within the space.
spazioSERRA is a place where art can be experienced at all times, from morning to evening, every day of the week, even during the setup and dismantling phases. There is no longer a defined and dedicated space where artists showcase their research; instead, they can use the city as the ultimate exhibition space.
The audience at spazioSERRA is diverse and unintentional, consisting of people from different social backgrounds, cultures, and inclinations towards cultural disciplines.
The name "spazioSERRA" not only recalls the shape of our pagoda but also the place where plants are born and grow, supported with the necessary care— as we intend to do with the emerging artists who exhibit there.
